This is a repost due to travel….
FIRST, entertainment news this week: Forget 2016. Kanye West says he’s planning to run for president in 2020. In a candid and at times heartfelt acceptance speech at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, the rapper concluded his remarks by announcing a presidential bid for the election five years from now. Is Kim first lady material, though? Oh and he also publicly apologized to Taylor Swift too!!!!
What say you about that mess???
A TLj Repost – VEHEMENTLY!
I marvel at how Google seems to know exactly what I’m thinking, no matter how silly my searches are. I’ll start a question with a single word like, “Is…” and it will finish my thought to completion.
Seems Google, more than likely, already knows a great deal about me. It’s not right all the time, but with me, it was pretty accurate, pegging me for a 35-45 year old woman interested in Traveling, Writing, Fashion and shopping.
Turns out that Google logs all the navigational clicks of all of its users on all of its services. Every request made to any of Google’s server is stored in log files. The content stored is dependent on the type of request. By doing this ads, actions, feature clicks it entices us to make purchases based on what THEY KNOW we already will say yes to.
But heeey! I have a great idea. What if we, as couples seek our partners VEHEMENTLY? What if our main desire and passion was to truly know them from the inside out and with the flick of a eye or a curve in their lip, we’d know exactly what the other person needed or possibly would like in a millisecond?
In seasoned relationships we often take our partners for granted and since the chance has been won eons ago, the excitement of desperately seeking halts.
- Zealous; ardent; impassioned: a vehement defense; vehement enthusiasm.
- Strongly emotional; intense or passionate: vehement desire.
- Marked by great energy or exertion; strenuous: vehement clapping.
If we learn to vehemently seek our lovers, how can we not love them better? How can we not please them (or at least strive to)? And, how can we not understand them? If Google (a bunch of high powered techies), can know us better that we know our own partners, there is something that we VEHEMENTLY need to change.
Think about it and have a happy Tuesday,
