Tuesday’s Love Jones – Faking Happy!

Comments 8 Standard

We’ve all heard it, right? That “grin and bear it” quote or that one that says, “fake it, tell you make.” Yes we have allbw-black-and-white-broken-brunette-Favim.com-2091955 heard stuff like that growing up, but is it really worth our self truthfulness? Ya know, to FAKE IT!

On an average, here’s how life works: We grow up way to fast to start, and from age 1 to 18, we spend a lot of time trying to figure out just who we are and then if we are lucky, we finally get the answer to that by the age of 30.  Now keep in mind, now that we have this wonderful realization…we can now practically begin our lives with a clear head. Meanwhile, we spend at least another 5 years wishing we had learned this groundbreaking knowledge SOONER!

tumblr_mev5ecFsGW1rhphd5o1_500On to our 40’s we become regretful and stuck in the routine of what we have accepted in life as our normal. All the while smiling through it all to quickly realize that 18 years is no where near enough time to have been a kid when we are doomed to spend a minimum of 77 years as adults.

Life is way to short to live each day faking through an entire 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! That that is a whopping 8760 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,00 seconds EVERY YEAR!

All I can say is: STOP FAKING through life and be the person that you were designed to be. Stop worrying about what others THINK of you and just live authentically. Stop faking through a relationship that is NOT making you happy also, if there is a lack of love shown through action over and over just step away from it.

Did you know that staying in a broken relationship is the same as watching a car burn? Ya see, as the car continues to flame it is only a matter of time before the fire hits the gas tank and the whole thing BLOWS up.  The only difference is that with the car medal is destroyed, but in our lives it may show up as high blood pressure, stroke and or other deceases.

Oh yeah, the flip side of faking through an entire life is that it may literally make you sick!  Next time you thing about FAKING HAPPINESS please consider how it may be effecting you on the inside.

Final: Get happy for real and know that you are completely worthy of real love and real happiness!

  1. Yes, I completly agree that once we began to learn to accept who and what we are, is when we can become proud and strong enough to show our true selves.

  2. Thank you for this Katrina! I receive this message! As an artist, I can be overly critical and wonder what everyone thinks about what I do in life. From here on, I will begin to live on purpose! Blessings to you and the fam!
